cub eating clam

This little grizzly cub was thoroughly engrossed in eating the razor club it had just dug out of the mud.  I love how the cub is holding the clam up out of the water on its crossed front paws in order to eat it without also getting a mouthful of salt water.  Bears are natural-born problem-solvers, and develop amazing dexterity at a very young age.  It was fun watching the sows teach them how to forage, as well as watching the cubs figure things out all on their own.
