I spotted this worker in Havana who was wearing a faded pair of red rubber gloves. Not only were the gloves arresting, but I loved the fact that he was also wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Red, white and blue happen to be the colors on the Cuban flag…as well as the flag of that other big country that lies just to the north of Cuba.
For some reason I don’t recall seeing red rubber gloves in the US. They seem to often come in yellow or blue. Darn shame…I think red is quite the attention-getter, don’t you?
